Golden Orange

Ingredients: (serves 4)

4 slices brioche about 2 thickness
Flavored ice cream or sorbet (choice)

For the jam:
3 oranges
1 lemon
1 l of water
200ml. orange liqueur

To the orange segments:
2 oranges
20 g butter
25g sugar

To make orange marmalade:
Cut the orange and lemon peel in small cubes without, about 5 mm and cover with water, let this mixture stand 24 hours in the refrigerator. After the time, boil over low heat for 45 minutes past the time we add the orange liqueur, boil for 15 minutes to remove the alcohol, let stand for another 24 hours. The result will weigh and add the same weight in sugar and put it to fire, boil over low heat for 30 minutes. We tune and set aside.

To the orange segments:
Peel the orange tip of a knife to clean the white parts well, once we get clean wedges between its fibers. We fire a pan, once hot all of a sudden we add the butter and orange wedges sauté over high heat, add the sugar, stir and took fire. Reserve.

Cut the slices of brioche into rectangles about 3 by 6 inches and plunged into the previously orange marmalade warm, we left 10 minutes to get drunk well.
